Requirements can be exported to MS Excel™. Requirements correspond to the lines on MS Excel™ sheets. The partitioning of requirements into different MS Excel™ sheets reflects the affiliation of requirements to requirement sets.
The Excel Requirements Template is a sophisticated tool developed to help you collect and manage your requirements. Each requirement corresponds to one line whereas the columns are the attributes of a requirement.
To export requirements select the project and click on Export... in the context menu or in Eclipse™'s File menu. This will launch the export wizard.
Select Requirements to Microsoft Excel on the first page and click Next. On this page you may specify the file to export to. The following page lets you specify filters for the export.
By appplying filters, you can define which requirements are to be exported and which not. Finally, click Finish to export the requirements.
