Creating a Requirement

There are three ways to create a requirement:

1. In the Requirements view in the Requirement Management perspective:
   
   1. Activate with a right-click the context menu of the requirement set for which you want to create a new requirement and choose New→Requirement....
   2. Choose with a left click the requirement set for which you want to create a new requirement and choose New→Requirement....
   3. Switch to the view Relation Graph, activate with a right-click the context menu of the requirement set for which you want to create a new requirement and choose New→Requirement....
   
   

   This launches the forms editor for requirements where you can enter the requirement.

2. In the plan editor in the context menu of a plan element:
   
   1. Activate with a right-click the context menu of the plan element for which you want to create a requirement and click on New→Requirement....
   2. Activate the context menu with a right-click on the plan element in the repository and select New→Requirement....
   3. Select the element graph in the fast view, activate with a right-click the context menu of the plan element for which you want to create a requirement and click on New→Requirement....

   This will launch the dialog Select Requirement Set. Here, choose the requirement set where you wish to create the requirement and confirm your choice by clicking on the OK button. This launches the forms editor for requirements where you can enter the requirement.
