Exporting Tasks to MS Excel™

In contrast of support for data exchange with MS Project ™ the primary purpose here is to exchange project plans with other Cockpit-projects or other applications. You have the possibillity:

• export tasks and work items to MS Excel™
• import tasks from MS Excel™

Export

To export tasks to MS Excel™...

1. Select the desired project in the Project Navigator
2. Right click the root node of the project and select Export in the context popup menu. This will activate the export wizard
3. Select Tasks to Microsoft Excel and click Next.
4. On the next page you may select the project plan for the export and enter a file name.
5. 
6. Finally, hit Finish and the selected project plans will be exported*
