This field is for the name of the work item. The name is supposed to identify and summarize the work item.
This field has to be filled when the work item is created.
Contains the category of the work item. Categories help organizing and grouping related work items. The category can e.g. be used in a filter. Each work item may have at most one category.
This field is supposed to be filled when the work item is created.
To create a new category, just enter its name in this field.
Contains the estimated effort for the work item.
This field is supposed to be filled when the work item is created.
Contains the effort that has already been spent for the work item.
This field is supposed to be updated regularly by the engineer that has been assigned to the work item. Please note that as soon as this field is filled, estimated work will be locked and you cannot revise your estimates.
This field contains the estimated remaining work.
With the button Complete the value is changed automatically to zero. The Work done is overwritten with the value you have in the Forecast.
If remaining work is updated automatically, e.g. as a result of the modification of the work done, a question mark is shown there. The user should check the correctness of this value.
Contains the forecast for the total amount of actual work needed for the work item. You cannot edit this field. Instead it is calculated by adding the remaining work to the work done.
The percent work completed indicates the progress of the work item. You cannot edit this field. Instead it is calculated based on work done and remaining work.
The progress of a work item is used to calculate the progress of the task the work item is associated with.
If the work is completed with the time which was forecasted, you can finalize the work item with this button.
Contains the stakeholder which is responsible to do the specified work, e.g. the engineer that has been assigned to the work item.
Contains resources like rooms, equipment, special devices or something like that.
Contains a detailed description of the work item.
