Creating a Publication

You create a publication at the root level or within any publications folder.

To create a root publication...

  1. Activate the Publications view in the Change Documentation perspective.
  2. Click on the button New → Publication on Root Level... in the view menu next to the toolbar.

Alternatively, you can right-click on any folder, publication or version and select the entry New → Publication on Root Level... in the context menu.

To create a new publication within a publications folder...

  1. Activate the Publications view in the Change Documentation perspective.
  2. Select the publications folder in which you want to create a new publication.
  3. Click on the button New → Publication... in the view menu next to the toolbar.

Alternatively, you can right-click on the publications folder in which you want to create a new publication and select the entry New → Publication... in the context menu.

Now, the forms editor opens for the creation of new publications. Enter the ID and the Title of the publication and save your entries.
