Creating a Change

There are different ways to create a change:

1. In the Changes view in the Change Documentation perspective:
   
   1. Activate with a right-click the context menu of the change set for which you want to create a new change and choose New→Change...
      
   2. Choose with a left click the change set for which you want to create a new change and choose New→Change... in the view menu next to the toolbar
      
   
   
   This launches the forms editor for changes where you can enter the change.

2. In the plan editor in the context menu of a plan element:
   
   1. Activate with a right-click the context menu of the plan element for which you want to create a change and click on New→Change...
      
   2. Activate the context menu with a right-click on the plan element in the repository and select New→Change...
      
   3. Select the element graph in the fast view, activate with a right-click the context menu of the plan element for which you want to create a change and click on New→Change...
      
   
   This will launch the dialog Choose parent object. Here, choose the change set where you wish to create the change and confirm your choice by clicking on the OK button. This launches the forms editor for changes where you can enter the change.
