Creating an Approval

You create an approval at the root level, within any publications folder or in a version.

To create a root approval...

  1. Activate the Publications view in the Change Documentation perspective.
  2. Click on the button New → Approval on Root Level... in the view menu next to the toolbar.

Alternatively, you can right-click on any folder, publication or other item and select the entry New → Approval on Root Level... in the context menu.

To create a new approval within an existing publications folder or a version...

  1. Activate the Publications view in the Change Documentation perspective.
  2. Select the publications folder or version in which you want to create a new approval.
  3. Click on the button New → Approval... in the view menu next to the toolbar.

Alternatively, you can right-click on he publications folder or version in which you want to create a new approval and select the entry New → Approval... in the context menu.

Now, the forms editor opens for the creation of new approvals. Choose the Responsible person and save your entries.
