Editing References between Requirements

A requirement can refer to any number of other requirements. The references between requirements can e.g. express dependencies between requirements. But references can also be used and interpreted differently. It is recommended to explicitly define the semantics of a reference for your project or organization and to utilize references accordingly.

To create references between requirements drag the requirement which should be the target of the reference to the requirement which should be the source of the reference within the Requirements view. In addition, you can modify references between requirements on the References page in the forms editor of requirements. For this, drag the requirements which should be referred to respectively referring requirements via drag'n'drop to the field "Referred Requirements" respectively "Referring Requirements". By clicking on the minus sign you can delete the reference.
