Storage

The storage element represents a passive component of a system. Agents can read from it or write to it. A storage that is accessed by at least two agents is called shared storage.

Usage

You can move the storage by selecting it (blue dotted outline) and dragging it to another location. You can modify the shape of the storage by selecting it and dragging one of the handles.

You can delete the storage by selecting it (blue dotted outline) and pressing [Del] or by clicking Delete in the context popup menu.

You can set the name of the storage by selecting Rename in the context popup menu. You can move and resize the text field of the storage by selecting the text field (orange handles) and either dragging the text field or its handles.

Multiple Instances

You can indicate that a storage occurs multiple times by selecting the agent, clicking with the right mouse button and picking Create shadow in the context menu.

You can remove the multiple instances by clicking the storage with the right mouse button and selecting Remove shadow in the context menu.
