ARCWAY Cockpit

Toolbar

Editor Toolbar

The Editor-toolbar provides access to the following helpers, from left to right:

Zoom Tool Launcher

Clicking on this button will launch the zoom tool, which enables you to specify the desired zoom interactively.

Zoom Selector

Zoom Selector

The zoom selector lets you set the zoom for the plan. You may pick one of the pre-defined zoom levels or enter a custom value in the text field at the top.

Automatic Edge Bending

Automatic edge routing

Edge bending is enabled by default in ARCWAY Cockpit. Thus edges that are anchored to a certain plan element will stay anchored when the plan element will be moved and the move may result in bending edges. By disabling this behavior, the anchoring will only then be obtained when the plan element moves in a way that edges only have to be shortened or lenghend.

Text Style

Text Color Selector

The first button allows you to change the text color of the selected plan elements.

You may either pick one of the pre-defined colors or define a custom color using the entry Change color....

The entry In selection... displays all the different text colors of the current selection. If you select one of them it will be set as the default color and can then easily be assigned to other plan elements.

Text Alignment Selector

The second button allows you to change the horizontal and vertical text alignment of the selected plan elements.

The next two buttons allow you to set the text to be rendered bold or italic and the last two buttons allow you to change the size and font of the text.

Note that these options are not available for all plan elements as some do not have text.
