The Selection Tool allows you to edit the plan, to add new plan elements from the templates, to cut, copy or paste plan elements and so forth.
The Selection Tool is the default tool. It is always active when no other tool is active.
To select a single plan object, simply click on it with the left mouse button.
Please note that you may need multiple clicks to select the plan object you desire. E.g. if you wish to select a graphical supplement, you will need to click twice. The first click will select the corresponding plan element and the second click will select the graphical supplement. You can see which plan object is selected by looking at the color of the handles.
If you wish to add another plan object to the current selection, you can press the [Ctrl] button and click on the plan object you wish to include.
Please note, however, that you can only select plan objects that are on the same level, that is you can select multiple plan elements or multiple graphical supplements, but you cannot select a plan element and a graphical supplement at the same time.
If you wish to select multiple plan elements at once, you can use the marquee tool. Simply press the left mouse button, keep it pressed and drag the mouse. This will open a rectangle. When you release the mouse button, everything that is inside the rectangle will be selected.
