1 - Plan Elements

Plan Elements are the primary objects on a plan. They can either be Local Element or Unique Element. Plan elements are usually composed of several lines and potentially have a number of graphical supplements.

Plan elements are visualized by a blue, dashed outline and handles at the center and at both ends of each line when they are selected in edit mode.

2 - Graphical Supplements

Graphical supplements can be anything: text, symbols, icons, etc. Each graphical supplement belongs to one plan element.

Graphical supplements are visualized with an orange decoration when selected.

3 - Anchorings

Anchorings are used to connect different plan elements When you move a plan element that is connected to another plan element in the Editor, the Editor will try to do re-route connections. Anchorings are not visualized in the Editor per se, but they appear in the interactive feedback.

In the feedback a green dot is used to indicate that an anchoring is about to be created and a red cross is used to indicate that an anchoring has broken.

Syntax Error Highlight

Syntax errors in plans are highlighted in red. If you wish to get an explanation, activate the context menu on one of the highlighted plan elements and select the entry Problems in the context menu. In the sub-menu you will find a list of problems. Clicking on one will lead you to a dialog with an explanation of the problem.
