Creating an Issue

There are three ways to create an issue:

  1. In the Issues View either in the Issues Perspective or Overview Perspective:
    Activate the context menu of the issue set by a right mouse click in which you wish to create a new issue and select Neu→Issue...
    The Forms Editor for issues appears where you can record the new issue.
  2. In the Plan Editor in the context menu of a plan element:
    Click with the right mouse button to activate the context menu of the plan element for which you wish to create an issue and click on New→Issue...
    The dialog Choose parent object appears. Select the object for which you wish to create the issue and confirm you choice by clicking on the OK button. The Forms Editor for issues appears where you can record the new issue.
  3. In the InfoLink View of a plan element:
    Activate the context menu of the plan element for which you wish to create an issue by a right mouse click in the InfoLink View and click on New→Issue...
    The dialog Choose parent object appears. Select the object for which you wish to create the issue and confirm your choice by clicking on the OK button. The Forms Editor for issues appears where you can record the new issue.

Please note that the newly created issue is possibly not displayed after creation. This happens when the issue does not meet the criteria of the currently active filter. The issue was created, however, which can be checked by deactivating the filter.
