Connect to Server

Before you can work with any project on a server, you first need to connect to the server.

To connect to a server...

1. Select the server in the Project Navigator and click on Connect in the context menu
2. This will launch the login dialog.

   

3. Enter your user name and password to connect to the server
4. If the login was successful, you will see that the icon for the server has changed. The icon is grey if you are not connected to a server, and it is white when you are connected to the server.

You only need to login to each server once. Your login will be valid for all projects of the server until you disconnect from it.

Please note that you cannot use two different logins for two different projects on the same server at the same time.
