Project Checklist

This checklist is a guideline for setting up a project. It is recommended to perform the given steps when creating a new project to prepare the project for the editing. By using this checklist you can avoid the necessity of administrating generell project settings during the actual editing process.


Server Settings

Set up users und user groups on your server.



Project Settings

Set up the project properties. This includes setting a name and a description for the project, setting the project language, the project logo and the copyright notice.

Define all Custom Properties that will be necessary for creating project content.

Think of a consistent folder hierarchy and create the necessary folders.

Assign permissions for your project.



Module Settings

Set up the values for freely definable value ranges in the modules. This includes e.g. categories, states and milestones for requirements and requirement notes.

Think of a consistent folder hierarchy for each module (e.g. requirement set or issue set hierarchy) and create the necessary sets.

Assign permissions for module datas.



Report Settings

Add all report templates that are necessary for generating reports to your project.

Add all format templates that are necessary for generating reports to your project.
