Editing multiple Unique Elements
If custom properties have been defined for
unique elements it is possible to set their
values for multiple unique elements at the same time.
In order to edit multiple unique elements perform the following steps:
- Select all elements in the repository view for which you want to
set or remove a certain property. You may want to deactivate the tree
view to view all existing unique elements. Use filters to view unique
elements of a certain type. It is possible to select more than one
element with the help of the Shift or Control keys.
- Now activate the menu of the view and select the entry
Tools > Set value...

- This will open a dialog that can be used to gather or set the
following information:
- The number of unique elements for which values will be set or reset.
- The name of the property that will be set or reset.
Specify the property you want to set and press Next.
- Now set the value of the property.
- Confirm your input with Finish.
- The values will be refreshed. You will be informed about any changes
afterwards. This includes a list of all modified unique elements and, if
applicable, a note about all elements that have not been modified (e. g.
due to locks of other users.)
