
Several components of ARCWAY Cockpit can be configured via Window→Preferences→ARCWAY Cockpit.
The configuration options are:
* - only with additional installation of Use Case Module
** - only with additional installation of Document Module
If SSL communication between ARCWAY Cockpit client and server is to be used, the trust store file and password must be specified here.
These settings define whether perspectives should be switched, when a plan is edited or has been edited.
These settings define the behavior of the Project Data View.
These settings define how URLs should be displayed in the InfoLink View.
The currently activated licenses are shown here. In addition, node locked licenses for the current client can be loaded from a file.
Here, you can specify the log file to be used and it's maximums size.
Here, you can download the log of all servers you are connected to.
Here, you can configure the verbosity (level of detail) of the client log. If the verbosity level is set to Trace, you can additionaly set, which components of ARCWAY Cockpit should be traced. Note that configuring the log is intended for trouble shooting and bug detection. It is thus a feature that the user should usually need not be concerned of.

Here, you can specify if the IDs of requirements can be edited.
Here you can add new servers the client shall connect to or alter the existing ones. Each server is identified by the URL and is given a name on the client. The keep alive timer specifies in seconds the interval at which the client updates itself with the server.
Here you can specify how extending scenarios should be displayed in the Project Data View.
