The Project Data View displays the project data of a project organized in different tabs, one for each type. Beside special functions for the project data there are a field for a "type as you find"-function and a filter function in the head line of the data view.
In the project data is it possible to do a text search. To use the text search it is only necessary to type the word you looking for in the text field. The project data will adapt automatically.
The text search does not include all fields, however. It will not work on creation date and date of last modification, e.g.
Project data shown in the Project Data View can be filtered based on the attribute values of the project data, by selecting the Filters... action in the toolbar of the Project Data View.
When a filter is active, the view displays the text filtered below the toolbar. This indicates, that it may be that not all project data is currently shown in the view.
By default, if project data is selected anywhere in ARCWAY Cockpit it is highlighted in this view. You can disable this behavior by pushing the button Link Selection With Selection of Other Views in the title of the view. By pushing the button again, you can enable the automatical highlight of selected project data again.
Via drag and drop project data can be moved and reordered. The order is saved in the project and is taken into account when a report is created.
Alternatively to the user-defined order the project data can be shown sorted by the contents of a certain column. To do so, click on the header of the column - the button Sort by column will be pushed automatically. If you push this button again, the project data will be shown in the user-defined order, again
Copies of project data can be created by using the shortcuts for copy 'STRG'+'C' and paste 'STRG'+'V' or by holding down the 'STRG' key while dragging the project data to be copied to the location where the copy should be created. You can also use the menu entries 'Edit > Copy' and 'Edit > Paste'
Via Customize Columns... in the view menu a dialogue can be opened, in which the columns to be displayed in the Project Data View can be configured.
Additionally the order of the displayed columns can be determined by drag'n'drop of the column headers.
