License for ARCWAY Cockpit Designer

The ARCWAY Cockpit Designer Edition can be used during the evaluation phase due to the terms of the license agreement. If the evaluation period is over, you need an electronic license. You can obtain such a license as follows:

1. Open the preferences dialog via the main menu Window. Expand the subtree ARCWAY Cockpit on the left side and select License. Here you can see the evaluation period.
2. Copy the ID which is displayed in the text field on the right side into an e-mail and send it with the subject "ARCWAY Cockpit Designer License" to license@arcway.com.
3. If you obtained the electronic license, open the preferences again. Select the license file via the button Browse and click on the button Load License. If the license has been loaded successfully, this is confirmed with a new message in the text field.

By default loaded licenses will be stored in the installation directory of Cockpit. Hence they will be available to all users of the computer. In case you have no write permission to this directory Cockpit will inform you and store the license in the working directory. Consequently you will be the only user who can use it. Alternatively you can ask a system administrator with the required permissions to load the license.

Hinweis:
It is not allowed to install an electronic license file for ARCWAY Cockpit Designer on more than one computer. The existing installation has to be removed from the old system before installing it onto another computer and loading the license file. Save all projects that you want to use further on before deinstalling the software.
